A process of shared governance and decision-making is facilitated by Directors and a Wisdom Circle. Linda Bennett Elder, Executive Director; Kathleen Bemis, Administrative Director; Chandana Chakrabarti, Director of Academic Internships; and Victoria Rue, Program Director are responsible for generating, planning and carrying out our initiatives. Directors meet at least twice monthly, and report to our Wisdom Circle on a regular basis.

The Wisdom Circle functions in an advisory capacity, serving as a council to offer guidance, support, suggestions for networking, etc. and assists in fund-raising and promotion. The directors report to the chairperson, secretary and treasurer of the Wisdom Circle in regular consultations throughout the year The Executive Director meets with the Wisdom Circle at least twice during the year.

The Wisdom Circle is dynamic and will continue to expand as our pilgrimages proceed. In each Pilgrimage Project Conversation site regional Wisdom Circles will be established to facilitate dialogue, outreach, and alliance building in their particular areas. Members of the Wisdom Circles and all participants will be encouraged to establish and maintain connections regionally and globally.

Steering Committees for each Pilgrimage Project Conversation will be comprised of directors and women identified as representatives from each upcoming Conversation site
