In its Global Quest among Women of Spirit for Equitable Sustainable Peace, The Pilgrimage Project convened in Berkeley, California for a preliminary stage of its quest toward a pilgrimage to India. Conversationalists included educators, artists, social activists and spiritual practitioners sharing perspectives of women from Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Buddhist, Ba’hai, Sikh, Indigenous, and Christian traditions.

The wonderful, in-depth conversations included examinations of the commonalities, diversities, concerns and spiritual connections and were an appropriate preparation for the interfaith interactions that will occur as we build alliances with women of South Central Asia.

Below you will find the program for the Berkeley conference in April 2003 with highlighted speakers and presentations in either audio, video or transcript format. These will be helpful for those who were unable to attend the conference and for those preparing for their own pilgrimage- to India or otherwise.
